Deathworld 1 by Harry Harrison - This #book was a milestone for sure, it wasn't the first #scifi #action for me but it was wise, active and impressive enough to kick out classic adventure literature from my brains.

Looks like Friday is becoming the day of blogger for me. I don't think that all 10 books from Culture series one by one is a good idea. I haven't read every anyway and the second is the most relevant to blog topics and brilliant as for me too.

Riddick is surprisingly good, #CG is strong and stylish, the rules of genre are kept, maybe a bit too long #movie.

xmen + ninja mix is a bit weird but aesthetics and hard action fixes everything :) Really good in 3D. Well done 9/10

Tuf Voyaging by George R.R. Martin #book #review

Very nice, funny and wise, reminds of The Star Diaries by Stanisław Lem. I liked most of all the moment that there is a very few of cruelty as for George R.R. Martin. Classical, even canonical stories remake make me eager to read the original finally :) (Read in Russian, bought on LitRes). Recommended 10/10.

Total Recall 2012 #movie #review

I've become old enough to meet loop of Hollywood's remakes. I don't remember previous film much. I guess it was on Mars with Schwarzenegger, amnesia and a girl wit three breasts. New one is on the Earth, production level and style is strong, action scenes are well done, ending comes with absurd hypertrophy. Good 7/10 :)

Wild Cards I a book by George R.R. Martin

Surprising and the most interesting part of the book appeared in appendixes: physics models for heroes super powers are really interesting for me. Also there are a lot of interesting info on newer history of US and the world.

Most of the story is scare, cruel and marginal, separate stories not to easy to connect, read and not too involving. Reminds of Sin City movie. Original mix, recommended.

Once again book read in Russian and not verified buy and I promise to read  new Gibson's book and write an review soon.
